Ever since the company was formed in 1987, we have made a habit of crossing the milestones. Here is look at your pretty journey across 29 years.

2021

							Received SEFA 10 certification for free standing lab workstation.

2020

							Built a completely mobile covid lab for RT/PCR tests. Also built several labs for covid testing and research.

2018

							Won large export orders from Myanmar. Won an order for complete chemistry block of IIT-Kharagpur involving 76 fume hoods and 4 km length of furniture.

2017

							Received SEFA 8M certification for lab furniture. Expanded factory operations by adding spare manufacturing and warehouse capacity. Won India Design Mark Award for Adventa series fume hood for innovative design.

2016

                           Introduction of Polypro fume hood and storage cabinets for hazardous chemical especially Acids. Launched Green fume hood in technical collaboration with Erlab, France. Awarded India Design Mark Award for Polypro series PP fumehoods.

2015

                           Launched Advanta series fume hood with extra work space. A mile stone achievement through our continuous R & D. Advanta fume hood has great success as maximizes workspace, a longstanding desire for scientist. We also launched our new plinth base furniture which takes more vertical load and aesthetically well accepted by all leading architects.

2014

                           Installed new automatic robotic bending machine “Panel bender from Salvaginini-Italy”. This makes LabGuard the biggest lab furniture manufacturing setup in terms of capacity. Started booking export orders from Gulf & Africa. Awarded India Design Mark Award for Inventa series fumehoods.

2013

                           Installed new turret punch press from “Muratec-Japan” & an automatic powder coating plant. Bagged prestigious order for R&D Centre for American giant Huntsman International Ltd.

2012

                           Factory has further increased capacity to manufacture fume hoods & cabinets. Started inhouse fabrication of ancillary items.  Received a big order to supply  fume hoods & lab furniture to IICT (Indian Institute of Chemical Technology), Hyderabad.

2010

                           Completed another round of expansion of our manufacturing facility keeping in mind future growth and increasing export demand.

2008

                           Ventured into ‘Turnkey Lab Solutions’ providing complete lab design and setup services. First project of 10,000 sq feet executed for an MNC with strong Indian presence.

2007

                           Set up an integrated factory campus at Pen; Dist Raigad, State Maharashtra. It was a landmark year as it was the first time LabGuard exported its products abroad with about 35 units shipped in the first year itself. In another milestone for the company we installed India’s first ever ASHRAE 110:1995 and EN14175:2003 test facility in our Pen factory for fume hood performance testing.

2002

                           Work with fume hoods was greatly appreciated with inquiries from many chemical and pharmaceutical companies. Manufacturing capacity increased through de-bottlenecking

2000

                           The Company took its first steps into its present course; wooden fume hoods used by many educational and research institutes were studied. Company then designed and developed its first basic table top fume hood for Goa University.

1997

                           Helped in the design and development of a special device for Tata Cancer Research Hospital that allowed remote extraction of radioactive medicine from its container.

1987

                           A special extraction hood & blower was designed for AA Spectrophotometer and manufactured as an import substitute. Though designed for GBC, Australia, product was subsequently chosen by many other prestigious clients.
